Task 1: Fill-in a Thinking Map to Present your Group's Research on The Different Systems
- Complete this worksheet to make sure you include all the important information about the body systems
- Which organs make up the system?
- Explain how the system works
- Draw/Find a diagram of the system
- Name 2-3 disorders that could occur within the system and explain them
- List 5 interesting facts about the system
- Explain why the system is important to our everyday life and how it helps the body maintain homeostasis
- Be sure to include all the important facts you found in Task 1. Remember, YOU are the teachers for the rest of the group
Task 2: Create a Presentation about the Different System's to present to the rest of your study group
- Create a slideshow of your presentation using the information you gathered from Task 1. You should plan what you want to put on each slide. (Make sure you keep this!). If you choose to do a poster or other form of presentation that is fine too.
- You MUST include some sort of notes sheet for you to distribute to the rest of the study group while you present your system. This could be a print off of your slides or if you had a poster you would include an outline of your information to hand out to the class.
- Include a title, the main organs, the body's system's function, disorders, five interesting facts, and a diagram of your system
- Include headings on each slide and make sure that you have double checked your spelling and punctuation
- You MUST have pictures in your presentation!
- Remember your slides should not be too busy and should be easy to read. Try to include transitions to make your presentation exciting!
